Yogurt is the key ingredient in these popular dishes


     Mango lassi: The best way to beat the heat is a chilled glass of mango sweet lassi. This simple lassi is easy to make with just a handful of ingredients. You will need 1 cup plain Sassy Lassi yogurt, ½ cup milk, 1 mango peeled, honey or sugar as per preference, crushed ice. Blend all the ingredients until smooth. Serve into chilled glasses and top it with a dash of cardamom powder. Or you could just opt for the mango flavored yogurt by Sassy Lassi!
     Gujarati Kadhi: Gujarati Kadhi is a thin gravy made with a batter of yogurt and chickpea flour, followed by a tempering of spices that give it an authentic taste. This is a sweet and spicy savory gravy popular amongst Gujaratis and generally served with hot rice.
     Indian Flatbread or naan: A famous Indian bread made with a dough of all-purpose flour, salt and sugar, plain yogurt, eggs, milk, oil, baking powder and baking soda. This staple flatbread is a common item in most Indian homes and goes well with all gravies.
